Comment: After buying all the 3 DVDs of the series I must say they are all great.
BE AWARE: you will NOT find hints on how to engage an enemy patrol, survival in the woods, immediate action drills and so on. If the aim is that better spend money in air-soft games and courses available allover UK.
What you will find is an overview of the situations a special forces operative will face, a general description what he will do thanks to his training, and the mindset he will use to approach them.
The DVDs are well structured with awesome balance between reconstructed stories and analysis of cases.
BEHIND ENEMY LINES will reconstruct an SAS patrol mission behing enemy lines, including what to do if being captured. The best parts of the DVD are the Interrogation part (and how to survive an interrogation, just great!) and what to do "on the run" (how to run away from enemy patrol without leaving traces and navigating in the woods).

Comment: Brilliant DVD but i was very disappointed that only had the first two episodes of the series. If you watched this when it was on TV, you would've been blown away with the sort of things they hard to train on and the skills they acquired! Eddie and Johnny Mac are fantastic! If you're interested in the SAS then this is a must!

Summary: A must for the special forces fan
Comment: First: thanks for a werry good DVD on the subject special forces tactics. The DVD is simple, but the content is werry informative and good. The story is fictive but accurate. All the gear that you see in the film is 100% real and i got plenty of new information about SAS tactics, thanks to good information and well made animations.
I bought the whole series of SAS survival secrets after this first part. Buy it today if you are intrested in the subject!

Comment: Like american special forces, the british ones follow a policy of showing their combat tactics so their ennemies learn and use these tactics and don't make up any of their own... This dvd series is a good example on this. Great insight on details about mission planning and executionm agreemented with awesome grafics. I really enjoyed this dvd, especially since most special forces follow the sas way of doing things nowadays...
