Customer Rating: Summary: Brave Little Island Comment: As a regular visitor to Malta I was moved by this story. It is a graphic record of the bravery of the Maltese people and the Allied Serviccemen who helped to defend the island. One Gunner who served on the island was determined to erect a fitting memorial to their bravery and this is the story of his personal crusade to rescue four anti-aircraft guns, have them refurbished and installed on the island. On my visit in 2002 I was priviliged to be allowed into the barracks to view the guns which are kept in beautiful condition. Customer Rating: Summary: Great Video Comment: This video is great and shows how Maltese suffered in the 2nd World War. Also this shows us why Malta was given the George Cross in April 1942 from the King George of England for the way the Maltese takle and passed the war.
