Customer Rating: Summary: A must for whoever likes the subject Comment: I've read loads of books about the various serial killers, both American and British, and found this book extremely well written, straight to the point and detailed. I couldn't stop myself reading once I had started because it keeps you glued!!! I strongly recommend it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Best true crime book ever. Comment: This book is about an unsolved serial murder case. It is a riveting account of how police incompetence, linkage-blindness, jurisdictional disputes and bickering between departments thwarted the investigation. The politics is THE reason why the killer(s) was never identified. Best true crime book ever.
Customer Rating: Summary: Super Boring Comment: Being a true fan of true crime I was really looking forward to this book..I've read all of Anne Rules' books and was under the impression that this would be in the same lines.. WRONG! I found this book to be too political...too much emphasis was put on the local politics and the mistakes that occured. It is one of the very few books that I have ever read where I have skipped chapters just to get to the end....A SORRY attempt!
Customer Rating: Summary: True crime at its best Comment: This book really brings to home how hard this case was - I found it disturbing and very emotional but impossible to put down
