Customer Rating: Summary: A great introduction to the concept of civil disobedience Comment: When I first read this book I could not put it down and it inspired me to explore the subject of civil disobedience further. This book is a compliation of key texts on the subject of civil disobedience. It includes Martin Lurther King's letter from Birmingham jail, USA and other key texts including Thoureau's essay on civil disobedence written in 18th Century America. This is a great introction to the concept of civil disobedience which would prove invaluable for students and activiists. Well worth reading!
